What does a chiropractor do?
A chiropractor examines how your spine, joints, muscles and nervous system work together, then uses hands-on adjustments and related therapies to restore motion and function. Here, that's combined with decompression, shockwave, PEMF, electrical stimulation, soft-tissue work and home exercise in one plan.
How do I know if I need a chiropractor?
Common reasons include neck or back pain, headaches, stiffness, pain after an accident or a workout, numbness or tingling, posture problems, or simply wanting to move better. If you're not sure, book a visit. If your problem needs a different provider, we'll tell you.
Do you take insurance?
We don't bill health insurance. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and personal-injury cases are billed through the injury claim. Pricing is clear and up front, and memberships and the Healing Reserve lower the cost of regular care.
How long is a visit?
Each therapy is a 20-minute block, so a visit runs about 20 minutes for one therapy up to about an hour and forty minutes for five. Massage and assisted stretching are one-hour sessions. Personal-injury visits are about an hour.
Can I walk in?
We've moved to scheduled visits so you don't wait. You can still come in the same day: online booking opens times as little as five minutes ahead, so you can book from the parking lot.
What should I expect after my first adjustment?
Reactions vary. Many people feel lighter and looser right away; some feel mild soreness for a day or two, like after a new workout. Sharp or worsening pain isn't normal, so call us if that happens.
What should I avoid after an adjustment?
Avoid long stretches of sitting right afterward if you can. A walk is ideal. Drink water, and skip heavy lifting or intense workouts for the rest of the day unless we've told you otherwise.
Do you treat children and pregnant women?
Yes. Pediatric and prenatal care use gentle, low-force techniques and positioning designed for safety and comfort. A parent or guardian must consent for anyone under 18.
Do I need X-rays?
Not always. We order imaging when your history or exam calls for it, for example after trauma, with neurological signs, or when you're not improving as expected. If you already have recent images, bring them.
