PEMF therapy for recovery and repair
Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy sends gentle magnetic pulses through the body. You lie down, you feel very little, and the session works at the level of the tissue that's trying to heal.
What it is
Every cell in your body relies on small electrical charges to move nutrients in and waste out. Injury, inflammation and chronic stress disrupt that. PEMF uses low-frequency electromagnetic pulses that pass easily through clothing, skin and bone to reach tissue that's struggling.
The research is strongest for bone healing and for easing pain and swelling in joints and soft tissue, and it is growing for nerve recovery and sleep. In practice, patients use it for sore, inflamed or slow-healing areas, and as a calming, restorative part of a regular visit.
It pairs naturally with an adjustment or decompression: PEMF quiets the tissue so the mechanical work holds better.
Often used for
- joint pain and osteoarthritis
- slow-healing sprains and strains
- post-injury swelling and inflammation
- nerve pain
- general recovery for active people
- stress and poor sleep

What a session is like
One 20-minute block. Most people lie on a mat or have a coil placed over the area. It's quiet and painless, and many use the time to rest.
Is it right for you?
Not for anyone with a pacemaker, defibrillator, insulin pump or other implanted electronic device, or during pregnancy. Let us know about any metal implants, seizure history or active cancer before your first session.
Questions
Will I feel anything?
Usually very little: sometimes a light tapping or warmth over the area. Feeling more doesn't mean it's working better.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Some people feel calmer and looser after the first session. Tissue repair takes longer, so PEMF is usually used across a series of visits.
Ready to feel better?
See every open time up to two months out, including same-day visits you can book from the parking lot.
