Red light therapy for cellular recovery
Specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light are absorbed by the energy-producing parts of your cells. The result is a gentle boost to the tissue's own repair work.
What it is
Photobiomodulation uses red and near-infrared light, not heat and not UV. The light is absorbed by mitochondria, which respond by producing more cellular energy and calming inflammatory signaling. Research supports it for joint pain, tendon and muscle recovery, wound healing and skin health.
It's restful and easy to combine with other care, and it often shares a room with PEMF so the two can be stacked in one visit.
Often used for
- joint aches and arthritis
- muscle and tendon recovery
- post-workout soreness
- skin and scar healing
- general recovery and well-being
