Muscle & mobility
Massage and soft-tissue work, with a purpose
Our hands-on sessions are built around what your body needs to move better, from a focused release on an injured area to a full-hour session for an athlete in training.
Techniques we use
Medical massage
Focused work on the specific tissues involved in an injury or condition, coordinated with the rest of your care plan.
Deep tissue
Slower, firmer pressure into deeper layers of muscle and fascia for chronic tension and long-standing tightness.
Sports massage
Before events, after events or during training blocks, to keep tissue resilient, manage soreness and catch small problems early.
Myofascial release
Sustained pressure and stretch that frees up fascia, the connective tissue wrapping every muscle, when it has become stiff and restrictive.
Active release
The therapist holds tension on a specific spot while you move through a range of motion, separating tissues that have stuck together after injury or overuse.
Trigger point therapy
Direct pressure on irritable knots to release them and stop the pain they refer to other areas.
Often used for
- chronic muscle tension
- sports training and recovery
- post-injury scar tissue and adhesions
- stress and poor sleep
- desk and posture strain
- pregnancy discomfort (with positioning for safety)

What a session is like
Full-hour, hands-on sessions with a licensed massage therapist. Shorter focused soft-tissue work can also be added to a regular visit as one of your 20-minute therapies.
Is it right for you?
We avoid deep work over recent injuries in the first few days, blood clots, varicose veins, open wounds and areas of active infection, and we modify pressure for osteoporosis, blood thinners and pregnancy. Tell us about any of these before your session.
Questions
Is this a spa massage?
It's therapeutic. The goal is to change how tissue feels and moves, so the pressure and techniques follow what we find, not a fixed routine. That said, most people leave very relaxed.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
HSA and FSA are accepted. Whether a specific massage qualifies depends on your plan and whether it treats a medical condition, so check with your plan administrator.

Assisted & Resistance Stretching
Stretching on your own only goes so far.

Some muscle knots are too deep or too guarded to release with hands alone.
Learn more →Cupping & Kinesiology Taping
Two simple tools that extend the work of a visit: cupping lifts and loosens tight tissue, and kinesiology tape supports it while you go about your week..
